How do I love you broom and shovel? Let me count the ways. The main attraction at Disneyland was not Mickey, it was the park sweepers and their brooms. Yelling "broom, broom" as loud as he could, until you acknowledged him and said "Yes honey, a broom". He then became Italian, yelling "broom-a, broom-a".
The shovel is a "daddy tool", and he makes that very clear everytime we pass it in the backyard, yelling "Daddy's ya-ya" (shovel). Nana and Pop bought him his own plastic ya-ya, which he carries to parties, the grocery store and the mall. It's the latest fashion accessory!
